OUR HISTORY

Granite Peak Group’s original partners, Rich Fairservis, the late W.N. ‘Neil’ McMurry, and Ron McMurry, were dedicated businessmen on a mission to serve the needs of corporations through land development, commercial property, rail, and infrastructure in Wyoming’s business-friendly environment. Founded in 2001, the company quickly became the largest full-service real estate development company in Wyoming and one of the largest players in residential, commercial, and industrial development in the Rocky Mountain Region.

 

By 2014, we had acquired, managed, and sold a variety of heavy industry companies, including the $60 million Casper Crude to Rail facility which was sold for $225 million just one year later.

 

Today Granite Peak Group has an even more diversified portfolio focused on high growth in heavy industry, with continued plans to expand and develop our holdings of world-class heavy industrial companies.

 

Original founding partners Rich Fairservis and Ron McMurry remain actively involved with Granite Peak Group and serve as co-chairs of various investment entities.
